E a vida ... pois e ?!!!

Dear Joaquim,

Of course we understand your considerations. Too bad for imec. The first interview was very convincing and we did intend to invite you for 2nd round in Eindhoven.
We try to be very thorough when hiring people and that does slow down the procedure.
I wish you a lot of luck in your new assignment and we will indeed keep your cv in our portfolio.
Feel free to inform friends on the design/layout opportunity at imec, that is still open for the time being.

Best regards,
Kathleen

Subject: IMEC vacancy for Layout Eng.

Dear Kathleen

Thank you for the opportunity of speaking to you. It was a very interesting conversation for me.
The prospect of working for IMEC looked very interesting.
Like I said to you previously, I had another opportunity for a position in Sweden. This one was on a later stage. They already sent a draft contract. So, I decided to go with it. It was a difficult decision to make. But it was a concrete option while with IMEC it was only a prospect.

Please keep my CV with you (in case you appreciated it :-). I would like to work at IMEC in the future. I think my profile and experience is really adequate for a position at IMEC and it is really what I want to do.

Whiching you and IMEC all the best
Best Regards
Joaquim Bernardino
